These Twelfth Street By Cynthia Vincent wedge oxfords, which I have ever so creatively deemed "wedgfords," are my personal favorite pair of semi-affordable statement shoes this fall ($325, shopbop).  Quite comfortable for the first few hours of actual walking wear (6+ tested standing at work and lifting a box...), these babies have a four and a half inch covered wedge heel and a 3/4 inch platform, which allows for the timed comfort factor.  Combining the style of the trendy oxford and the silhouette of a heel, these are a great fusion of new and old.  A more affordable version would be the Sam Edelman "Effie" Suede Wedge Booties ($130, shopbop).  Whether paired with a skirt and over-the-calf scrunched socks, jeans and a chunky winter sweater, or a dress and opaque tights, these will certainly do the trick of revivifying any outfit in your closet.
