still kisses

Since New Years is just around the corner, and the most important part of New Years is not only who you're with but who and what you're wearing, I thought it would only be fair to compile a list (and long list at that) of my favorite picks for NYE wear.  I divided it into categories of different types of dresses, skirts, blazers, and tops.  Discretion: most of the items contain sparkle or embellishment.  It's only fair.  Another discretion: I'm pretty sure I've already picked mine out, it's perfect, but I'm not putting it on here because, well, that's only fair.

Dresses, in the cutout category:
Alexander Wang (no words for this one), Rachel Pally for a maxi look, Rory Beca (the master of chic ballerina dresses, this babydoll dress also comes in a beautiful blue eyes shade), Torn By Ronny Kobo

Dresses, in the bodycon category:
ALC (lace, a great substitution for those of you who don't wear sequin), David Lerner (not only the king of leggings, I love Lerner's sweetheart dress: the details around the neck makes my heart melt), Free People (I am a fan of the velvet trend so long as it is kept simple, like this dress), Pleasure Doing Business, and Herve Leger, whose designer Herve L. Leroux pioneered the bodycon dress in the first place.  You could refer to him as the God of bandage.  His prices certainly reflect his authority in this category.

Dresses, in the (final) girly category:
Love this Twelfth St by Cynthia Vincent dress.  Count on her for stunning yet classic looks.  We all know her shoes are reliable for this.  Next, Alberta FerrettiElizabeth and James (one of my favorite designers, and I love not only the detail but the name of this dress), EverVeda (leather Queens), DVF (this is simply stunning), Rory Beca (you know how I feel about open backs).
