Runway: Rag & Bone SS12

It's impossible for me to go without a piece (or ten) from Rag & Bone in my wardrobe every season, so naturally I never miss David Neville and Marcus Wainwright's show at fashion week (not literally... because I wasn't at the show.... if I was I would surely die of excitement... but figuratively, as in occupying my entire day after the show of sifting through photos and videos).
The shows are always fascinating and unbelievably unique, in all sense of the word.  The duo's style has evolved so much but still remains true to their original vow of creating clothing that they and their friends would love to wear day in and day out.  They are living proof that formal fashion training is not necessary when you have a gift, a vibe, and a realistic sense of style. These are two of my biggest inspirations in the fashion industry in that you can never assume what they'll come up with next, but it is always fantastic.
The S/S 2012 show was, as always, unique but so totally wearable. It left me yearning for Spring when Summer just ended. This show was warm-weather-tastic, with bright techno blues and oranges, army greens, raspberry prints, crisp modern whites, geometric patterns mixed with menswear blazers, sheer fabrics, crocheted knits, 90s-inspired chokers, and goggle-inspired shades, for the chicest of swimmers.
